A Queens man had a handgun and was wearing a bullet-proof vest when troopers pulled him over for rocketing past them at 93 miles per hour on I-684 Friday afternoon, State Police at Somers said.

A trooper stopped a 2007 Mercedes driven by 25-year-old Frederick Humphrey at 12:45 p.m. in Bedford, where Humphrey exceeded the speed limit by 28 miles per hour, cops said.
