Sandy aid sought by 11,000 in Hudson Valley, FEMA says

Almost 11,000 people in the Hudson Valley have registered for superstorm Sandy aid, mostly in Westchester and Rockland counties, the Federal Emergency Management Agency said Friday.
FEMA released the numbers as local communities continue to rebuild more than two months since the storm and as lawmakers squabble over the larger of two relief packages.
