Scarsdale block reopens as crews try to fix water main

Authorities Friday morning reopened a block in Scarsdale that was closed for four hours due to a water main break.

The stretch of Central Avenue from Clifton Road to Inverness Road was closed after crews responded to the break, which was reported at 1:30 a.m., said Greenburgh police Sgt. Dan Massett.

About a half dozen homes are without water, News12 reported.
