Wintry weather will greet Hudson Valley commuters Wednesday morning with areas south of I-287 expected to see a mix of rain and snow and northerly regions likely to get 1-3 inches of snow, according to News12 forecasts.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for northern Westchester, Orange, Putnam and Rockland counties effective through 4 p.m. Wednesday.
