A vehicle fire that was causing delays on the Taconic State Parkway Friday morning has been cleared, State Police said.

The fire, which occurred around 6:30 a.m. near Baldwin Road in Yorktown, shut down the center and right lanes on the highway's southbound direction for roughly an hour, State Police said.

Traffic delays stretched back for at least two miles.
