The Hudson Valley can expect a chilly Columbus Day, with the temperature in some counties dropping into the 30s by Monday night.
The holiday will be dry, with a high temperature hovering around 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. But by the evening hours, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam and Orange counties are expected to see temperatures plunge into the mid- to upper 30s.
