Trial set for Chamberlain cop in other lawsuit

A federal judge has set a new trial date in a civil rights lawsuit filed against a White Plains police officer in an incident that occurred before he shot and killed 68-year-old Kenneth Chamberlain Sr.

Officer Anthony Carelli is accused in the lawsuit -- filed by a Jordanian-American man from Yonkers -- of using ethnic slurs and brutality following a 2008 arrest outside a White Plains bar.
