A man was taken to an area hospital Thursday night after police say he barricaded himself inside his Tuckahoe apartment and threatened to take his own life.

Neighbors identified the man as Francisco Minion and say this was the second day in a row that police have been called to his apartment on the eighth floor of the Tower Club Condominiums on Columbus Avenue.
