Tyler Madoff, White Plains teen, lost at sea in Hawaii

The U.S. Coast Guard has called off its search for a 15-year-old White Plains boy who was swept out to sea while hiking during a kayak trip in Hawaii.

Tyler Madoff was on a guided kayak trip with a group of people Wednesday on the Big Island of Hawaii when they stopped at a tidal pool, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The group was about 30 feet off the shoreline
