For seven years, people have been living rent-free in a trailer park that sits on prime real estate overlooking the Hudson River in Verplanck.

Like many other local communities, the Seaplane was heavily damaged by superstorm Sandy. After the storm, the town declared five of Seaplane's trailers were unsafe, and the people living in those trailers were given until Friday to move out.
