GOP Senate candidate Diane DiDonato-Roth is declaring her "independence" from the Westchester County Republican Party.
The North Castle councilwoman, who is running for the 37th Senate District seat occupied by Democrat Suzi Oppenheimer, submitted signatures -- 1,776 of them -- to run on the Republican line in the Sept. 13 primary.
