Kenneth Chamberlain shooting case
White Plains police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. last year will not be indicted, a grand jury decided in May. On July 2, Kenneth Chamberlain Jr. filed a $21 million lawsuit against the White Plains Police Department, the city, the White Plains Housing Authority and eight police officers involved in the standoff that led to the death of Chamberlain's father on Nov. 19.
