A Yonkers firefighter is being hailed as a hero for battling his neighbor's kitchen fire and potentially saving the house.

P.J. Goldfeder got a knock on his Belmont Terrace door Saturday morning from his neighbor's daughter, saying that the kitchen was on fire. The home belongs to former Yonkers Councilman Dennis Robertson.

Goldfeder grabbed a fire extinguisher and battled the flames...
