Yonkers man resists would-be robbers, suffers cut to head, police say

A 45-year-old Yonkers man defied gun-wielding assailants who demanded his wallet Sunday night, but he suffered a gash to his head when one of them hit him with a bottle, police said.

The man was approaching his vehicle, parked at 125 Landscape Ave., when he was intercepted by two males, Yonkers police Det. Lt. Patrick McCormack said.
