Yonkers, New Rochelle get grant to promote leaf mulching

Instead of raking and bagging leaves, residents and businesses in Yonkers and New Rochelle will be encouraged to grind up autumn's annual debris into a fine mulch for their lawns.

The two cities have gotten a $50,000 grant to promote an approach known as "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em."
